1.1. Due Monday, October 3, 2016 - Discuss with parent(s)/ guardian about the Cell Project.

1.2. Obtain parent signature on INPUT PAGE (last page of science notebook)

1.3. Decide if you will be focusing on an animal or plant cell for your project.

1.4. Brainstorm about what kind of project you would like to do.

1.5. Due Monday, October 10, 2016 - Write or type up the function of organelles of the cell model you are working on (plant cell OR animal cell). Look on pages 90 and 91 for the function of the organelles.

1.6. Due Monday, October 17, 2016 - Discuss with your parent(s)/ guardian about your progress and what you still need to do to complete your cell project. Be sure to get your input page signed (last page in science notebook)

1.7. Due Monday, October 24, 2016 - Short write-up about your project with your parent signature. Answer the following questions: - What have you done/ completed so far? (hopefully, you are 90% finished!) - What do you still need to do? - What will you do to complete your project on time (by Wednesday, October 26, 2016)

2.1. Monday, October 3, 2016 - Stamping of parent signature and comment on input page

2.2. Monday, October 10, 2016 - Stamping of written/ typed information about the cell organelles (functions of each cell organelle which can be found on pages 90 and 91 in your textbook)

2.3. Monday, October 17, 2016 - Stamping of student input page with parent signature and comment.

2.4. Monday, October 24, 2016 - Stamping of write-up about student progress with parent signature.
