1. Yellowstone

1.1. Old Faithful

1.1.1. We do not control nature: it's wild, free, and unpredictable.

1.1.1.1. Nature is wild: it is nearly the only thing we cannot control. It does its own thing, we cannot control the weather, the animals, the trees, or the faults.

1.1.1.2. Nature is free: we Americans are free, but we are not the only ones, nature is almost more free than we are. Free means not being under the control of any other. Again, nature is only powered by itself.

1.1.1.3. Although at Old Faithful, you are able to roughly predict the next eruption, we are nearly always off my at least a minute or two. However although we are extremely close to the time of eruption, nature still can change instantly on us. Nature is unpredictable, whether we talk about earth quakes happening at any time, eruptions happening at any time, animals coming and going at any time, or weather changing drastically at any time.

1.1.2. Many people, of all races, were at this site, possibly due to the ability to nearly predict nature.

1.1.3. Nearly 140 ft tall, almost no plants around, large crowds

1.2. The Grand Canyon of Yellowstone

1.2.1. We are so small compared to nature: in size, power, and strength

1.2.1.1. The mountains and trees all around me were huge, they over powered me in a stunning way.

1.2.1.2. The strength and power of the water was beyond my believe, even from a long distance, you could hear and feel the power of the water flowing from the mountain.

1.2.2. Crumbly/sulfur filled mountain sides, huge water fall/mountains, loud water, stunning

1.4.1. Nature is obtainable, but only in a small portion compared to the vast array of wilderness.

1.4.1.1. After hiking up the tall mountain, I understood the vastness of nature. Although it is huge, I am able to obtain some of nature. I may not be able to ever experience all  of it, however I am capable of obtaining some.

1.4.2. 8,420 ft elevation, huge, windy, large compared to surroundings.

2. Bryce Canyon

2.1. Lookout point

2.1.1. We are small and nearly insignificant in this world we live in: this world is large, strong, and more than we can understand.

2.1.1.1. Standing at the lookout point, I realized just how small I am compared to this large world around me.

2.1.2. Huge compared to all things around, red (iron) rocks, hoodoos all over.

2.2. Camp
