3.1. What do I need to do to become a certified medical coder?

3.2. Taking the CPC certification exam this coming Saturday!  I've been studying like mad. I've taken the 3 AAPC Practice Exams and passed all.  Are there any others I should do?

3.3. I'm enrolled in the full coding course...probably won't test until 17....will you have updates to the course I'm presently enrolled ini? Or will I need to purchase additional coding update material?

3.3.1. Yes we endeavor to update all courses based on significant code changes.  We always update the CPC Review Blitz as we use the CPT manual as the main visual and it's nice to have the pages match the manual you are taking into the real exam.

3.3.2. You should purchase 2017 Coding Manuals if you are testing after Jan. 1st.

3.3.3. Textbooks don't normally get updated until well into the new year and the changes are minimal to warrant needing to purchase a new textbook.  When there were significant changes like the ICD chapters going from 9 to 10 we were allowed to scan those chapters in for our students.
