1. Mixtures- a substance made by mixing other substances together.
1.1. Homogeneous mixtures- A mixture which has a uniform composition and properties throughout: air
1.1.1. Heterogeneous mixtures- combination of 2 or more pure substances in which the oringinal substances retain their chemical properties.
1.2. suspension-a liquid mixture in which the minor component is uniformly distributed within the major component.
1.3. Heterogeneous mixtures- combination of 2 or more pure substances in which the oringinal substances retain their chemical properties.
2. Suspension- a liquid mixture in which the minor component is uniformly distributed within the major componet
2.1. Matter-a substance that occupies a space and posses rest mass, especially as distinct from energy.
2.2. Topic 2
2.3. Topic 3
3. pure substances- substances that are made of only one type of atom or only one type of molecule.
3.1. Compounds- a thing composed of 2 or more separate elements
3.2. elements-each of more than 100 substances that cannot be chemically interconverted or broken down into similar substances.
3.3. colloid- a homogeneous, noncrystalline substance consi
