Ariel Cook

1. Childhood

1.1. I am an only child and ABSOLUTELY hate it! Growing up I was fortunate enough to get anything I asked for though.

1.2. Being called "bossy" became an everyday thing for me at a early age. By the first grade I declared I wanted to be a teacher because I liked being in charge.

1.3. Throughout elementary school my parties managed to throw me a surprise school birthday party every year! ( Yes, I was genuinely surprised every year even 5th grade!)

2. Education

2.1. Dr. Phillips High School is a school like no other. We excelled in almost every sport and the school spirit was hard to avoid. By 12th grade there was no doubt I BLEED white and blue and proud to be a Panther!

2.2. Tuskegee University was the first school to offer me a scholarship so naturally I decided to go where the money was. Unfortunately, after more than $30,000 and 3 semesters I had no field experience and only took one actual Education course. I decided to transfer for a better opportunity to become a more successful teacher.

2.3. The University of Florida was only about an hour away from my hometown but it didn't seem like an option because it was too close to home. After so much money was spent and no education was really gained UCF seemed like the only option to help me concur my career.

3. Important Dates

3.1. I was born on October 28, 1995 in Manhattan, New York!

3.2. June 3rd, 2014 I graduated with honors from High School. Although, this isn't my biggest accomplishment it by far is the most memorable. Family and friends all came together to celebrate what seemed like the biggest moment of my life!

3.3. June 7th, 2016 is the day I got engaged! Although the wedding won't be until I finish school and settle in my career it was still a day full of joy, emotion, and will be unforgettable!
