I have an exam coming up. What do I do for accommodations? 1 week prior to test date, notify your Prof: "I wish to use my accommodations for our next quiz/exam. Will you be reserving a testing room, or should DAC reserve a room?" by Mind Map: I have an exam coming up. What do I do for accommodations? 1 week prior to test date, notify your Prof: "I wish to use my accommodations for our next quiz/exam. Will you be reserving a testing room, or should DAC reserve a room?"

1. If Prof says: "I will reserve a room for you." Arrange your start-time so you're able to get to your next class in time! Also ask where to return the exam when you are finished.

2. Remember: If you show up late, you do NOT get that time back. Your exam-end time remains the same! ALSO: Bags, coats, purses, cell phones, and course materials are not allowed in the testing room.

3. Go to the designated room at the time you and your professor arrange.

4. Return your exam to your professor when finished.

5. If Prof says: "I'm not able to reserve a room. Please work with DAC to arrange a testing room."

6. Go into myDAC to schedule your exam NO FEWER THAN 3 business days before the exam date. Failing to do so may result in you needing to take the exam in your classroom, using the time extension at the end of the exam.

7. ...That means for an exam on Monday, schedule NO LATER than Thursday the week before. For an exam on Wednesday, schedule NO LATER than Friday the week before.)

8. You and your professor will be sent an email confirmation from BreAne Hampsher when the room reservation is complete and the test is approved.

9. DAC staff will return the exam to your professor.
