1. Cyclone

1.1. Cause: Cyclones are caused by high ocean temperatures, broad scale wind systems and clustered thunderstorms, which release the heat energy from the ocean surface and transfer it to the cyclone.

1.2. Effect: The effect of a tropical cyclone include; heavy rain. strong wind, large storm surges at landfall and tornadoes. The destruction of a cyclone depends on the intensity,location and size of the cyclone.

1.3. On the 20th of March 2006 cyclone Larry crossed Northern Queensland. 30 where injured, 10,000 homes where destroyed and $540 million dollars worth of buildings and other such things where ruined.

2. Severe Storm

2.1. Cause: Severe storms occur when moist are has absorbed enough heat to make the air less dense than the surrounding air.

2.2. Effect: Severe storms can bring heavy rains which can cause; flash flooding, strong winds, hail, tornadoes and lightning. These things can effect the environment, animals and humans.

2.3. On the 4 of April 1999 a hailstorm hit Sydney. There was one death, 50 were injured and 130,00 were affected. $1.700 million dollars worth of buildings and other structures were ruined.

3. Tsunami

3.1. Cause: A tsunami is a series of large waves generated by an unexpected movement on the ocean floor that can result from an earthquake an underwater landslide, a volcanic eruption or -very rarely- a meteorite strike.

3.2. Effect: Tsunamis cause habitat disruption, flooding and alter landscapes, and produce deadly currents at sea. The damage caused by tsunamis can vary dependent on the size, intensity and location of the land it affects.

3.3. On the 19 of August 1977, a tsunami hit Cape Leveque in Australia. Luckily nobody was hurt and nothing was broken.
