1. Corresponding Angles
1.1. the angles that occupy the same relative position at each intersection where a straight line crosses two others. If the two lines are parallel, the corresponding angles are equal.
2. Same Side Interior Angles
2.1. Same side interior angles are two angles that are on the same side of the transversal and on the interior of (between) the two lines.
3. Complementary Angles
3.1. either of two angles whose sum is 90°.
4. Supplementary Angles
4.1. either of two angles whose sum is 180°.
5. Adjacent Angles
5.1. Two angles are Adjacent when they have a common side and a common vertex and don't overlap.
6. Linear Pair
6.1. A linear pair is a pair of adjacent, supplementary angles.
7. Interior Angle
7.1. the angle between adjacent sides of a rectilinear figure.
8. Exterior Angle
8.1. the angle between a side of a rectilinear figure and an adjacent side extended outward.
9. Transversal
9.1. intersecting a system of lines.
10. Alternate interior Angles
10.1. When two lines are crossed by another line (which is called the Transversal), the pairs of angles. on opposite sides of the transversal.
11. Alternate exterior Angles
11.1. alternate exterior angles are defined as two exterior angles on opposite sides of a transversal which lie on different parallel lines
12. Vertical Angles
12.1. each of the pairs of opposite angles made by two intersecting lines.
