1. Holiday: Name ( Metis Rememberance Day). Like the modern day, Rememberence Day, the Metis Remembrance Day, is a showcasing of the Tribe History, and timeline. On this day, the Oldern Metis, are remembered. Figures, like Louis Riel, and Gabriel Dummont, are showcased, as the Heroes and preservers of the Metis tribe. The history of the Metis, including Arts, Cooking/Recipes, Music, Apparel, Governing People, Homelife, Adapting, Hunting/Fishing/Farming Techniques, and Language-- are to be remembered. Like Canada's Day, Metis Rememberence Day, is to be a grand holiday. Locations, around the country, hold Celebrations like the CNE, in where People have fun and can learn about Metis Cultures, and traditions.

2. Significance: Riel, was a hero. Freedom fighter, to the Metis and French-Catholics. He fought, his heart out, for the fair rights, that his people needed. The pleas, his Metis people cried out, were never heard. Until, Louis Riel, the Freedom fighter, took a stand. He went, into the scorching fires, to fight. Fight after Fight, he put his heart out to seek justice. Battle On Battoche, Battle Of Duck Lake, Battle Of Fish Creek... These fights, were to seek fair rights for his people. Today, Riel is signified, as a Hero to many. His death, opened the eyes for the future. And, the people of today, now know Riel, as the Freedom fighter he was...

3. Holiday Date: Metis Remembrance Date (November 16th). November 16th, was the death date, of Louis Riel. This date, is specifically chosen, due to the reason, that this date, is when a hero of Canadian Growth, died a tragic and sad death. The death in 1885, set sail for the future, in where many had seen Riel, as a freedom fighter. On this day, People remember who Riel was, what he did, and his contribution to Canada as it is today. November 16th, marks the Remembrance date of Him, his cause, and his people. His death, now a day to remember, all the good he did.

4. Contribution To Canadian Growth: Riel, was a contributor, to Canada as a whole. Some say, Riel was a founding "Father Of Confederation", alongside many others like John A. Macdonald, George Brown, and Etienne Cartier. Riel, had contributed to fight for the established Manitoba Act. The act, stated the freedom and protection, that the Canadian Government, must allow the Metis Tribe, in Manitoba. Riel, was also supporting the growth of his Catholic-French Half. He fought, for their rights also. Riel, was seen as a force, that grew that Province Of Manitoba.

5. Holiday Tradition: On this Holiday, people are to be reminded of the Metis Past and Cultures. A tool, to help vizualize those events, is Apparel. People can wear, oldern day styled, clothing that the Metis wore. Also, they can be simple and wear a badge or sticker, to showcase their contribution to the Holiday. The Metis, wore Oldern Day Quillwork styled apparel. This, can better show support and care, towards a holiday. And people can have an experience, like Halloween, in where they dress up. This is only intended, as a way to remember the Metis, not to mock or hurt the Culture and Traditions.
