Studies have showed men tend to have more challenging times forgiving a sexual affair; whereas women tend to forgive extramarital intimacy when emotions are not attached with the other partner.

Most emotional affair do not lead to sexual intercourse, but emotional affair usually leads to texting, chatting online and talking on the phone a lot, other than the spouse/partner.

1.6. Multiple Affairs: Symptomatic where an individual can have an sex addiction or be addicted to love and romance. Meaning, with romance and love the individual is driven by the new relationship, whereas, sex addicts are attracted to having an orgasm.
