5. Strategy 1: Print the exercise of matching the correct character and pinyin or picture. Then ask the student to write down the characters on the smart-board that the teacher says.
6. Strategy 2: Put the questions on character writing on Kahoot, ask the student to do the exercise on the smart-board.

11. Strategy 1: Print the exercise of matching the correct pinyin and pictures of the words on a piece of paper and ask the student to finish it and then color the pictures. Then the teacher walks to the student and have the student to tell the teacher what the picture is with correct pronunciation. Teacher correct the pronunciation secretly without embarrassing the student.
12. Strategy 2: Ask the student to read a paragraph of Chinese words at least twice a week and use Voicethread to record it. On voicetread, the student should put nice pictures on it according to the content she reads. The teacher gives feedback to the student's work and make the next reading plan for the student.
