1.1.1. Teacher can find or create own questions based on any subject for students to play live. Students are actively engaged and teachers can quickly see who gets answers right.

1.2.1. This shows many videos in all subjects and also gives quizzes and activities as a follow up for the lessons.

1.3. ABCya

1.3.1. Students love this app because there are many activities and games for all subject areas. It gives great practice in all academic areas.

2.1.1. Students can choose a reading strategy they need to work on and fill out graphic organizers.

2.2. Front Row

2.2.1. This program allows students to use multiple subjects. My students use the ELA to review and practice reading comprehension.

2.3. Tumblebook Library

2.3.1. There are multiple books on this app for students to view. It provides lesson plans and games to go with each story. It also gives a wide variety of fiction and non-fiction texts.

3. Fun apps

3.1. Androidify

3.1.1. This app lets students create avitars that can go with characters created in their writing or reading.

3.2. Typograffit

3.2.1. Students can type plain text and turn it into fun, visual messages.

4. Research

4.1. PebbleGo

4.1.1. This is a sensational app that is user friendly for students. Databases provided on this site are animals, science, and biographies. Lots of information given for students and shows videos, too.

4.2. Kidrex

4.2.1. This is a safe search engine for kids.

5. Assessments

5.1. IReady

5.1.1. This is very expensive but is a great tool to gather assessment data to use as individualized instruction in ELA and Math.

5.2. EdPuzzle

5.2.1. Teachers can find videos that go with curriculum. They can then crop and edit the video to insert questions for students to answer as exit tickets or short assessments.

6. Communication

6.1. Class Dojo

6.1.1. This app gives instant communication to parents. It shows positive and negative behaviors. Teachers can upload pictures of things going on in the classroom and direct texting to parents.

6.2. Google Drive

6.2.1. Teachers or students can create Google slides, or docs and share them with peers or teachers.
