1.1. advertise in order to inform the public of the importance of a small tax levy for the continuance of the parks system

1.2. involve local officials in the process in order to see it put on the ballot for the next voting session

2. Grant Funds

2.1. Properly petition for grant money to fund the park system

3. Donations

3.1. increase incentive program for donating individuals or companies

4. Work Study Programs

4.1. Get the local high school vocational programs

4.2. create work study partnerships with local Colleges and universities

5. advertising

5.1. increase public awareness of the Springfield parks board facilities

5.2. Possibly redirect current funds from the park board budget to facilitate increased revenue

5.3. Work with local advertising companies to seek donated advertising space
