Sports fans do go too far by Mind Map: Sports fans do go too far

1. Some fans might try to steal from superstars that they don't like.

1.1. This Bulls fan decided to try and snatch the headband right off of the former Heat superstar LeBron James (Lee).

1.1.1. “In March 2013, a Bulls fan tried to snatch the headband right off the head of Heat superstar LeBron James as he headed to the locker room after a loss in Chicago. He didn't get the headband, but he did receive a very nasty glare,” (Amber Lee).

2. This fan decided to smash his coffee table with his speaker when his team missed a winning field goal in the playoffs. (Lee)

2.1. “This Vikings' fan was probably legitimately upset after being destroyed by the Packers in the 2012 playoffs—and that's giving him the benefit of the doubt and assuming the game is really on his television,” (Lee).

2.2. Sports fans might destroy their stuff if their team does bad.

3. CA-Even though some fans do absolutely love their teams, there is a line, and many of them have crossed that line. I mean really dropping your kid to try and catch a foul ball. This man at a Dodgers game was holding his kid, and when he saw the baseball coming in his direction, he dropped his kid to try and catch the baseball. He didn’t even catch it!

4. Sports might/will cause people to start riots.

4.1. After Argentina lost to Germany in a soccer game, the Argentina fans ran through the streets like maniacs smashing windows and throwing stuff inside the stores. It was like a war zone up and down the streets, police were shooting rubber bullets and spraying tear gas into the crowd, (Sam Apple).

4.1.1. "It looked like a war zone. Angry mobs ran through the streets hurling rocks and smashing store fronts," (Sam Apple).
