Why athletes are way overpaid

1. What does it say when our society when we pay athletes, both men and women who play games for a living, millions more than we pay people who save lives?
1.1. "Unless you’re finding a cure for cancer or creating world peace, I don’t know if anybody deserves to get that much money." Says Drew Brees at thetylt.com
2. LeBron James made $71 million last year, nurses who dedicate their lives to the care of others don't make that much the President of the United States does not make that much, not even close!
2.1. "Jimmy Connors plays two tennis matches and winds up with $850,000, and Muhammad Ali fights one bout and winds up with five million bucks. Me, I play one-hundred and ninety games, and I'm overpaid!" Says Johnny Bench at bleacherreport.com
3. People who work for 70 years will not make as much as some athletes in one year!
3.1. What's more, many Americans will work a full-time job until they are about 70 years old and not make as much in a lifetime as an athlete like Tom Brady makes in one year who makes $36 million!
4. Athletes get payed more than 5 times as much as nurses!
4.1. Athletes get paid way more than nurse, do we value entertainment more than health and safety?
