FIRE ISSUES IN LOCAL

1. ISSUES:- forest fire in selangor in 8 August 2013

1.1. CAUSES OF FIRE :- unscrupulous people who burned tires in a forested area near the area, causing burns

1.2. LOSSES :- most of the almost combustile nature reserves

1.3. MORAL:-landowners failed to manage their land so that in case of fire.

1.4. LEGAL IMPACT:- landowners identified will also be charged under the Environmental Quality Act, which carries a penalty of up to RM500,000 or five years jail.

1.5. FINANCIAL IMPACT:-most of the almost combustile nature reserves

2. ISSUE:- fire in Kampung Seri Inai, Ulu Klang, in 8 January 2012

2.1. CAUSES OF FIRE:-fire caused by a short circuit is likely one of the houses there.

2.2. LOSSES:-no casualties were reported.

2.3. MORAL:-most of the houses are wooden houses and no fire extinguishers

2.4. LEGAL IMPACT:-NO LEGAL ACTION TAKEN

2.5. FINANCIAL IMPACT:-53 squatter houses were destroyed

3. ISSUES:-center gathered clothes on fire at Batu Pahat in 4 January 2014

3.1. CAUSES OF FIRE: fire caused by a short circuit

3.2. LOSSES:-no casualties were reported

3.3. MORAL:-irresponsible person close a fire hydrant with a pile of dirt.

3.4. LEGAL IMPACT:-can be charged under Section 26 Hide and misuse hydrant

3.5. FINANCIAL IMPACT:-recorded losses estimated at RM450,000.

4. ISSUES:-fire in the village Rampayan in 20 February 2014

4.1. CAUSES OF FIRE:kitchen fire that left up causing fire-

4.2. LOSSES:-No casualties were reported

4.3. MORAL:-houses built very close and no fire prevention equipment-

4.4. LEGAL IMPACT:-no legal action taken

4.5. FINANCIAL IMPACT:-seven houses, a salon on fire
