1. TYPE OF REPRODUCTION Sexual They have a maximum of 4 puppies, but commonly only 2 puppies, are blind and defenseless at birth.
2. GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS * Jaguars are the largest of South America’s big cats. * Their fur is usually tan or orange with black spots. * Jaguars live alone. * The jaguar’s body is stocky, compact and muscular. * They can live to be 12 to 15 years old in the wild
3. TYPE OF NUTRITION They are heterotrophs Jaguars are mammals. They are carnivores and eat a diet rich in meat and fish.
4. HABITAT Its preferred habitats are usually swamps and wooded regions, but also live in scrublands and deserts. They often have caves.
