Piecewise Functions and Quadratic Functions
by Kaitlyn McLane
1. The dictionary definition of a piecewise function is a function which is defined by multiple sub-functions, each sub-function applying to a certain interval of the main function's domain
1.1. Piecewise functions are defined by at least two equations where each will apply to a different part of the domain. This will assist in graphing.

2. The dictionary definition of quadratics is one of the form f(x) = ax2 + bx + c, where a, b, and c are numbers with a not equal to zero.
2.1. The graph used in a quadratic function is parabola. This graph is curved normally upward or downward. They can vary in width and how steep they are.
