1. Loyalty
1.1. Beowulf is loyal to his cause. He follows through with the plans that God has placed before him.
2. Good Vs. Evil
2.1. Beowulf portrays the Good in the story. Grendel and others portray the Evil. It is a constant fight between Good and Evil. Religion also plays a major role in the story. God is good while the demons throughout the story are evil.
