1. Humble Beginnings in London, England

3. Was an underground genre (barely had any recognition). As popularity grew, got more recognition in magazines (The Wire), and got its own radio show {Dubstep Warz [Hosted by Mary Anne Hobbs] (aired on BBC)}

4. Ammunition Promotions, Which owned the Influential club Forward>>, also managed some of Dubsteps first record labels.

5. Took elements from many genres [UK Garage, Jungle (Now Drum and Bass), and House]

7. Includes heavily FM'd (Frequency Modulated) Sounds

8. Evolution of Skream (Dubstep artist since the beginning of its origins)

9. 2005-2007: Slower, Darker, contained less wobbles and wubs

10. 2007-2009:Began incorperating more modern dubstep sounds: the wobble, punchy kicks/snare, began to sound "fuller".

11. 2011: was the beginning of modern Dubstep. The DNB (Drum & Bass) song structure became more prevelant in modern Dubstep. (intro-buildup-drop-breakdown-buildup-drop-outro) Which was originally found in Drum & Bass

12. 2011: his songs went from dark and empty to melodic and full. He also began to incorporated more modern Dubstep sounds into his music at this time.

13. 2011: Skreams Dubstep began to take on a more modern sound, the sounds and styles you hear today.

14. Includes punchy kicks/snares and bright sounding Hi-Hats

15. Percussion patterns are, most of the time, basic as to not get in the way of the main sounds/melodies

16. 2013: Began to include even more modern dubstep aspects (song structure, kick/snare/hi-hat hits on beats 1 & 4, modern dubstep sounds)

17. 2014-2017: At this point, Skream transtioned out of the slowed down on producing Dubstep and went on to produce other types of music
