7.2. It's perfect to avoid Thoughtcrime: in fact if you delete troublesome words people don't know how to express all that feelings considered thorny.

7.3. Winston likes the Old Speak but he knows he can't tell it. His reaction to Symes ideas is to think that he will soon be vaporized because he's too intelligent and so he may be troublesome to the Party.
