1.1. All she wanted was to be accepted.
1.2. She didn't care about her knowledge, as long as she was considered "beautiful"
1.3. Married rich, so she could have all the luxuries in life.
1.4. Even though her husband cheated on her, she stayed with him so she wouldn't be judged.

2. The Past
2.1. Daisy knew Gatsby before.
2.2. She loved him, but he couldn't give her everything she wanted at the time.
2.3. Didn't always had everything in life and was never satisfied
2.4. Gatsby's "green light",was a reference to Daisy being so close, but yet so far away.

3.2. Wanted to be with Gatsby, but couldn't leave Tom and her life behind.
3.3. The only person that truly loves her is Gatsby, and she can't be with him.
3.4. Gatsby and Daisy's love story was only figurative.
