Effective Internet searching

1. narrow your search-> find exact phrases-> Trim the URL -> investigate similar pages ... simples =)
2. you can use words such as 'AND' , 'OR' 'NOT' to limit you search, expand or refine.
3. Ensure you are using websites that are trustworthy and have an org, . gov or .com at the end of their title ( unlike wikipedia)
4. insert " qutation" marks to join phrases together aiding in your searching
5. Ensure the websites references and information are up to date once you decide on a resource. you don't want to be showing off how smart you are with facts that aren't right!.
6. if at first you dont find what you are looking for, try altering the key words of your search for more refined results.
