3.1. Threats to Internal validity are the following: times and methods for sampling of cortisol levels, method for choosing participants, subjective results reported by parents.

3.2. Threats to External validity are the following: The participants involved only had 2 types of disease, the age range was narrow, and the population was only children with chronic diseases.
