3. Sounds are used to build tension, the killer will often have a theme which suggests danger for the main characters. In addition to predictable dialogue. High pitched screams are common in horror films as well.

11. Settings which are common are large houses such as mansions which may be haunted. Forressts, graveyards, small towns, remote areas such as lakes and caves. in addition to areas with little to no authoritative people such as parents or the police. Storms and bad weather are common also as these types of things cast dark shadows which provides low-key lighting.

12. Supporting Characters- Protagonist's friends and family.

13. Antagonist- Crazed killer or monster with a trademark characteristic. will often seem unbeatable as the protagonist will be unable to escape them.

14. Protagonist - Usually an adolecent female , innocent and alone. The young girl is often stalked in some way.

17. Narratives include, the killer or monster killing of a group one by one, battles with an evil force, relationship subplot, disruption of normality, and often a twist at the end.
