1. About the Services
1.1. The programs and Services are offered to Ottawa youth each year through after-school, weekend and supper programs. They are designed to build self-esteem and help develop stronger social skills. has served the Ottawa community since 1923, reaching out to 4,500 children and youth each year through after-school, weekend and summer programs that build self-esteem and help to develop stronger social skills. After-school and weekend hours are a critical time for youth. That time can represent either an opportunity to learn and grow through quality after-school programs, or be a time of risk to youth's health and safety
2. Inclusion
2.1. They also allow assistive devices to be used by those with disabilities. They will work to ensure their staff is trained and familiar with assistive devices that may be used by Members. A Member/visitor with a disability who is accompanied by a guide dog, service animal or service dog will be allowed access to premises that are open to the public, unless otherwise excluded by law. If a support person accompanies an individual with a disability, BGCO will ensure that both persons are allowed to enter the premises together and that the Member/volunteer is not prevented from having access to the support person.

6.1. Each year, the Club serves more than 4,500 children and youth aged 6 to 18 and Membership is free. “The BGCO is happy to provide barrier-free access to all Members.” The BGCO operates under four specific pillars of programming: Education; Physical Activity/Healthy Lifestyle; Leadership and Social Skills; and Creative Arts.
