1. What is Structural Engineering?
1.1. The building and designing of structures so they are able to withstand the stresses the that will be put upon it
2. What is Geotechnical Engineering?
2.1. The designing of all structures that directly interact with subsoil, both onshore and offshore. (Dams, tunnels, anchors, etc.)
3. What is Transportation Engineering?
3.1. The planning, functional design, operation, and management of facilities for anything associated with transportation.
4. What is Water Resources Engineering?
4.1. Has the tasks of supplying water for human use, removing water once humans are finished with it, and develop methods of avoiding damage from things such as flooding.
