Define the Problem by Mind Map: Define the Problem

1. Someone that you do not know begins to chat with you while you are playing an online game and starts asking you inappropriate questions

2. Identify Your Values Talking to the stranger might affect things like your self-esteem and could potentially be dangerous. If your values lie in your safety then choosing to do something about the situation and not responding to the questions will be the best decision.

3. Decide and Act Make the right decision, whatever suits you. Blocking the player might be the best idea if it’s not serious. But if the questions start to get strange, like they know something about you in real life, you should contact a trusted adult.

4. Explore the Alternatives -Play Another Game -Stop Playing -Ignore the Messages -Block the Online Player

5. Considering the Consequences -Playing another game will stop the disturbance but you won’t be able to play that game. -To stop playing will also stop the issue, and you can be more active instead. -Ignoring the messages might not be the best solution, since they can still send you texts, and use language you don’t want to read. -If the option is available, blocking the person will stop the messages and you will still be able to play your game.

6. Evaluate the Results The decision would have made me a safer and more aware person. It would also open trust bonds between me and my parents/guardian
