Decision Making (DECIDE) by Mind Map: Decision Making (DECIDE)

1. --D-- So what Bob would probably want to do is first try to find a place on the way home where they have something healthy. Then he could go there everyday whether he's hungry or not, and maybe try something new.

1.1. --I-- It's a known value of life that eating healthy is the best way to maintain a well life, and so if Bob wants to take risks like getting a sugar-packed mcflurry instead of a healthy snack, he'd be risking himself.

2. Indentify Your Values

2.1. Consider The Consequences

2.1.1. Explore The Alternatives

2.1.1.1. Define The Problem

2.1.1.2. --D-- Bob is on his way home, and he's very hungry. He spots macdonals, and really feels like having a mcflurry at this point, but he's on a weight loss diet.

2.1.2. --E-- He could either: 1) wait till he reaches home to have a healthy snack, 2) get the mcflury and then go home not feeling hungry, 3) get something healthy on the way home

2.2. --C-- If Bob chooses #1, he would suffer a little more than the other options, but the healthy snack at home would help him become more physically well. If Bob chooses #2, he's taking a risk of getting more addicted to it, which will effect his wellness, but at the same time he won't be hungry. If Bob choose choice #3, even though it's not what he craved for, he might like it, he won't feel hungry, and it will help him reach his goal of losing weight!

3. Decide and Act

3.1. Evaluate The Results

3.2. --E-- The decision worked out really well because from that decision, Bob learned that he shouldn't risk so little, and now he's lost weight quicker, and feels better by eating that healthy snack everyday. That way he'll crave the healthy snack as much as he did with the mcflurry!
