Both of these articles clearly express their different disciplines while also sharing the similar topic of Womens Rights.Both articles are academic and formal. however, These articles do have very different focuses on the topic. I believe the comparison between these two articles show exactly how disciplines may differ in methods of providing evidence but still get their main points across to the readers.

4.1. Silencing survivors uses Logos, Ethos, and pathos. The article is filled with citations and references from potentially credible sources. Also, the topic is very sensitive so it makes the reader feel something about the topic.
4.2. Gender Earnings Inequality appeals mainly to Logos with some Ethos. It uses Mathematic equations to provide evidence for the argument

5.1. Both articles are persuasive in the ways they give evidence. Both methods of giving evidence are different, the first using many references while the other uses logic and equations.
6. Word choice
6.1. The Silencing Survivors article is easy to read with a bit of discourse within it, but the authors always elaborate and define their meanings.
6.2. The other article uses very formal and academic writing. The article does a good job of sticking to the statistics and logic within their discipline.
