2. Assessment Data

3. Assessments allow teachers to not only look at where their students are at and what they have learned, but to also look at themselves as a teacher. It allows teachers to discern if they need to make modifications to how they are teaching a certain topic, or make modifications with how they are teaching a certain student.

4.1. An informal assessment to check for understanding

5.1. A formal assessment with pre-made questions to check for students understanding at the end of a unit/six weeks/year

8.1. A form of assessment whose purpose is to ascertain, prior to instruction, each student's strengths, weaknesses, knowledge, and skills
