5.1. Dr Newton’s project will improve our understanding of how bacteria/viruses can trigger cancer and will help devise new methods to prevent certain forms of the issue. Perhaps, his idea will be appropriate for government and some social programs could be based on it

6.1. To identify the types of childhood cancer; to determine exposure to other infections by using new technologies to analyse blood samples taken from participating children; to establish the reservoir of blood samples for investigations.
