1. Observe

1.1. Arrive early to class, review notes from last class, review highlighted key points and ask questions from homework that was not understood.

1.2. Bring correct materials to class such as Textbook and writing utensils.

1.3. Sit front and center of class to avoid falling asleep, lack of focus, fewer distractions.

2. Online Coursework

2.1. Create schedule with list of due dates and upcoming assignments.

2.2. Create time to complete assignments such as each Monday and Wednesday participate in class discussions.

2.3. Focus attention on course avoid easy distractions on internet such as texting, television on, music in background.

3. Instructor( Talks Quickly)

3.1. Write important topics rather than trying to write each concept down.

3.2. Use audio recorder to review what instructor has lectured during class.

3.3. Ask questions when instructor is down talking.

4. Note Taking ( Record)

4.1. Use key words to remember important concepts taught.

4.2. Leave blank spaces between notes to include any questions or input own interpretations.

4.3. Cornell Method, format paper to better understand concept with a summary of lesson at the bottom.

5. Note Taking ( Review)

5.1. Review class notes within 24 hours of taking them.

5.2. Create summaries. Summarize large sections into your own words.

5.3. Edit notes, write out abbreviated words, if you can't read notes ask instructor or friend to interpret.
