2.2.3. Orthodox Christians do not follow the rules of the Pope but rather have their own leaders; The Patriarchs

2.3. Protestant

2.3.1. Began in the 16th centry

2.3.2. Includes churches such as the Baptists, Lutherans, Presbyterians, Methodists, Pentecostals, Quakers, Calvinists, Seventh Day Adventists, and Jehovah's Witnesses, and others.

4.3. Founded by the followers of a Jewish teacher and prophet named Jesus (later called Christ)

4.4.1. Christianity spread in the region that is now known as northern Israel, which at the time was controlled by Rome

4.4.2. Roman Emperor Constantine legalized Christianity and converted himself

5. Worship

5.1. After Jesus's death, followers wrote his teachings in what is called "The New Testament"

5.2. Place of worship is called a church

5.3. Sabbath for most Christians takes place on Sunday

5.4. A pastor/priest/minister leads the congregation
