human trafficking solutions

1. This plays a huge part in this and is considered as a social as younger generations need to be aware of the risks of human trafficking and no what to do about it if they are being. It can also be classed as a economic issue as the campaign has a potential to cost a lot of money in schools all over the nation. It also needs to be passed through government.
2. eductaion
2.1. Education as I you raise the awareness of the problem and can be regarded as a social issue as the people have to be willing to learn and help prevent the problem it is also a economic factor as they have to be able to fund this venture.
3. If you are in the United States and believe someone may be a victim of human trafficking, report your suspicions to law enforcement by calling 911 or the 24-hour National Human Trafficking Hotline line at 1-888-373-7888. Trafficking victims, including undocumented individuals, are eligible for services and immigration assistance.
3.1. I think that’s this is definitely a social issue as people have to be able to recognise and act upon people who they believe are being trafficked. I would also regard this as a legal issue as migrants must be eligible for the immigration services eg this response line so background checks will have to be taken into consideration. Also this could be classed as a economic problem as this solution could be used world wide instead of in one country but must be passed through the government of the countries willing to receive this helpline.
4. Volunteer and support anti-trafficking efforts in your community.
5. Learn the indicators of human trafficking so you can help identify a potential trafficking victim. Human trafficking awareness training is available for individuals, businesses, first responders, law enforcement, educators, and federal employees, among others.
5.1. Raising awareness of human trafficking is huge as it is a sociall issue as it needs to bemade clear of the indications to stop this or further prevent this from happening. it is also an economic factor as to set up and organise clasess will cost money. it can alomst be classed as a legal issue
6. Meet with and/or write to your local, state, and federal government representatives to let them know you care about combating human trafficking, and ask what they are doing to address it.
7. Attorneys: Offer human trafficking victims legal services, including support for those seeking benefits or special immigration status. Resources are available for attorneys representing victims of human trafficking.
8. This can be linked to pestle as i could be classed as a environmental issue as it could be very hard to build due to the surrounding environment e.g amazon rain forest is impossible foundation to build on. Also it may affect infrastructure such as roads as they will have to face the potential of closing and re opening new and old roads to make the new relevant routes which will cost time and money. It can also be classed as a political issue as the government will have tighten up on border regulations and laws and will have to spend more money to tighten up on security, costing more money. Its very much classed as a legal issue as the new laws will have to be passed and regulated before acted upon.
8.1. border control
9. increase sanctions to discourage human trafficking.
9.1. This can be considered as a political issue as new laws and punishments have to be passed by the government so they be put in place. It can also be considered as a social issue as this will most definatly discourage people to do this act as the punishment is alot harder to cope with, and will affect their families social life etc. This is certantly a economic issue as to by the new security equipment will cost a lot of money. Another issue would be a legal issue as the punishments have to be legal and passed through the legal system and in my opinion this means less people wil do it.
10. Organize a fundraiser and donate the proceeds to an anti-trafficking organization
10.1. This is also a social issue as people would need to be generous in giving their money as without there money then there will be no funds raised and the charity will not benefit. Economic will also be considered as a factor as the whole point of this event is to raise money for the charity so the issue can be resolved. This can also be classed as a legal case as they have to be obtaining the money legally.
11. Businesses: Provide jobs, internships, skills training, and other opportunities to trafficking survivors.
