1.1. Michigan

2. I am teaching my students about the United States because I want my students to know about the country they live in.

3. Mackinac Bridge

4. The Mackinac Bridge is 5 miles long. It connects the Upper and Lower Peninsulas.

5. Michigan has 5 great lakes know as HOMES.. Lake Huron, Lake Ontario, Lake Michigan, Lake Erie and Lake Superior.

6. Michigan is a great state to live in. I want my students to learn all about the beautiful state. They should know the capital, Detroit motor city, Mackinac Bridge, Upper and Lower Peninsulas, Great Lakes and more.

7. Detroit Motor City is know for the big 3 also know as GM, Ford and Chrysler.

8. We will be focusing more on my home state, Michigan!

9. Michigan has a lot of great places to visit such as Frakenmuth, a Barvarian-style agriculture, Mackinac Bridge, Great Lakes, Detroit and Lansing, which is the capital of Michigan.

10. Lansing is where governor Rick Snyder lives.

12. Great music also started in Detroit and it has a nick name called Motown.
