1. Antecedent Agreement

1.1. Make sure that you are using the correct pronouns. Antecedent and pronouns must match in number, person and genre.

2. Person and Number

2.1. The phrase “he or she” can be not so understood, so when this happened you may revise the sentence to have plural antecedents.

2.1.1. singular words:

2.1.1.1. anybody, anyone, anything, each, either, every, everybody, everyone, everything, neither, no one, nobody, nothing, one, somebody, someone, something

3. Antecedent Clarity

3.1. The "antecedent" is like the noun, but as a pronoun; His, her, him, their, your, ours, etc.

3.1.1. “Antecedent clarity” means that is should be clear who or what the pronoun is referring to.

4. Case

4.1. The most common mistake between “You and me” and “You and I”, is the incorrect use of the case.

4.1.1. Remember, everytime you use a pronoun you must use the correct case.
