1.2. ALLIES- -Telegraph machines gave the Allies many updates on the war, which shaped public opinion as ever before.

1.3. GREAT BRITAIN-

1.3.1. Nationalism was strengthened, especially in Great Britain (for being the “good ones”).

1.3.2. The military forced the British to professionalize their army.

1.4. ALL- Many improvements available for general society (such as in medicine).

2.1. The Crimean War destroyed the Russian navy, particularly in the Black Sea with the takeover of Sevastopol in September of 1856. The image encompasses the importance of the port, which is even further highlighted by the fact that the city held still for eleven months after the Battle of Inkerman.

3.1.1.1. this gave it a tactical disadvantage aganst britain

3.1.2.1. this made it very hard for russia to do comerce

3.1.2.2. caused by the lack of weaponry

3.1.3. The alliance within Austria Prussia and Russia was destroyed

3.1.3.1. Trading between those countries stopped

3.1.3.1.1. This caused inflation;when things get expensive

3.1.4. Russia got a serf-based economy.

4.1. The conflict started when Russia decided to invade Turkey, thanks to the advantages the expansion of territory would bring

4.1.1. Great Britain and Austria where against this, since it both would make Russia very powerful if it manages to have a more convenient trade route, and because they hadn’t thought about that before. France saw it as more convenient to side against Russia.

4.1.1.1. To put Russia in its place again Great Britain entered the conflict and ended up winning the war. But unlike the propaganda at that time like to announce it, Great Britain didn’t enter to the conflict because of the goodness of its heart, but because at the end of the war Russia had been revoked of many rights and had to give back its newly conquered lands, debilitating Russia a lot.
