Now that the android app is out will you now work on fixing the problems with the iOs app

    • Dan

We’re always working on fixes Jim! Which problems in particular are you experiencing?

    • Jim Finn

I had 2 tickets about a sync problem. Just after 4.01 was updated on iOS all syncing stopped. No maps in my pro online account would sync with my iPad or ipod but any new maps would sync up. I lost a lot Both tickets were closed 2 weeks ago with a comment that the problem had been found and that an update would be released and this is the last that i have heard.

    • Jim Finn

Sorry that should have read I lost a lot of work that i had done on my Ipad on various maps as a result of this problem.

    • Dan

Duly noted, and thanks for this info. I’ll have a look into it personally.

    • Dan

Our support and dev teams tell me that the issue you experienced has been addressed and will be fixed in our forthcoming 4.0.2 version. Unfortunately, it’s not 100% ready for public consumption yet, and I apologize for that. Coming soon….thanks for you patience!

    • Jim Finn

      Thanks Dan.

I await with baited breath 🙂

    • Darrin Roush

      Awesome…thank you!

      Doesn’t look like much …

Thanks for presentation mode, but it appears to only be about 50% of what a true presentation mode could be.

      A few things missing:
      1. Ability to really focus in on a single node. (This is in keeping with the modern presentation style of one bullet point, one graphic, one slide.)
      2. Ability to hide surrounding stuff (so that viewer is not distracted or reads ahead). Keep the element of surprise!
      3. Stack up better vs. Prezi.
      4. Support speaker notes
      5. Better usability

But I think you could do the above fairly simply by:
      1. Have a mode where the current node is not only centered but is zoomed to fill the screen.
      2. Add some additional presentation options like “Show Children Collapsed” and “Do Not Reveal Siblings”. Permit sibling nodes to be spaced apart (currently they are adjoining and get revealed together).
      3. Add some simple transitions between nodes.
      4. Pressing “S” brings up a popup displaying the note for the current node
      5. Pressing “?” brings up a shortcut overlay (GMail does this)

But without these, it is a presentation tool only partially useful (i.e., just for presenting mindmaps, but not encouraging mindmaps as the vehicle for a presentation). I hope you can evolve it that way.

    • I absolutely love it. I loved MindMeister software as it was, was excited with the recent overhaul and been struggling using this for presentations, but was blaming myself. Great solution. See my Google+ Post about this feature for more props: https://plus.google.com/u/0/109328508502348869446/posts/AjruKo7QZyG

      Thanks guys.

    • Ken

I have signed up to Mindmeister with my google account. i was able to create a map and it has saved to my googe drive. A question:

    • Glenn

Same question as Ken and Pedro. How do I love in from the android app using my Google credentials. It doesn’t seem to work if I just enter them.
