5. Growth and Diversification Strategies Definition: Strategies which focus around achieving objectives which result in the profit, sales, and overall size of a company in order to ensure long-term survival.

5.2. Diversification Definition: A strategy which pursues growth acquiring and or investing into new markets and product lines Example: HP obtaining Compaq

6. Grand or Master Strategies Definition: Strategies which focus around giving basic direction for achieving large and or long-term objectives. Often, these strategies are seen as comprehensive approaches to major strategy points.
