Relative clauses: who,that,which

1. A clause is a part of a sentence

2. WHO: We use in a relative clause when we are talking about people (not thinhgs). We use WHO instead of he/she/they

3. THAT: Is the most used and that can be used when the antecedent refers to people or things.

4. 1.The woman who lives in this house is a teacher.                                           2.The man who is in the shop is my neighbor.                                               3.The girl who lives in this house speak english.

5. 1.That is the boy that i met last year.    2.The camera that is in the chair is very  expensive.                                            3.I´ll read a book that is in the  university library.

6. WHICH: Is the most used and that can be used when the antecedent refers to people or things.

7. 1.The lamp which on the desk disappears.                                             2.The song which i heard in the concert is boring.                                                 3.The notebook which is on the table is small.
