1. Studios/Production/Operations Department

1.1. Employs production staff for " Wraparounds", Video Library, Master control facility, editing rooms and satellite uplinks

1.1.1. Principally, SMs are involved in the operation of studio equipment. This generally encompasses a mixing desk, alongside ancillary equipment such as ISDN codecs, playback and recording devices, and telephone and VoIP adapters.

2. Finance

2.1. The Senior Manager, Non-Federal Grants serves as the lead in facilitating and managing all aspects of non-federal grant awards for PBS. He/she is the primary interface with all internal stakeholders, including functional leads, Corporate Finance, Accounting, HR and Legal, and will assist in all phases of the grant cycle from the proposal process to the end of the grant term. The Senior Manager uses a strong understanding of PBS’ internal policies regarding grant management to act as the internal reference for the funders’ grant requirements. He/she works closely with the PBS Foundation and PBS senior management, and supports key PBS non-federal grant relationships

3. Product Development Technologies

3.1. Works independently and within the myPBS team to ensure superior content management capacity among PBS staff, and staff at member stations and affiliates. Facilitates the transfer of information from across the public television system into the myPBS interface for the use of PBS staff and member stations.

4. Promotional Marketing Group

4.1. Responsible for miantainging high visibility for the network at a local level

4.1.1. Also tries to encourage cable operators to place the network in an advantageo US channel location (A low number)

5. Content Marketing & Audience Development

5.1. Help increase consumer consumption of PBS content, and adoption of PBS products, across the digital asset management platforms (DAM) by 1) collecting, organizing, distributing and archiving promotional assets; 2) ensuring uniformity and high quality standards for assets; 3) providing DAM technical/operational assistance to PBS staff and external users; 4) supporting organizational priorities by leveraging and optimizing the use of promotional assets across all channels.

6. Corporate Communications

6.1. Responsible for the day-to-day operations of Viewer Services, including responding to viewer comments and developing reports

7. Human Resources

7.1. A key strategic leader, the Vice President, Human Resources will partner with the CEO, COO, and the senior leadership team to champion a culture of innovation and creativity at PBS, identify and communicate the HR implications in business plans, and align business and HR strategies to proactively support the organization’s strategy, goals, mission and values. The incumbent plays an essential role in change leadership by collaborating with and guiding the senior team in alignment on values and priorities, and in leading initiatives that will create new ways of working -- while preserving and reinforcing core values.
