1.3. Past - Received a Master's degree (M.Ed.) in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling from Coppin State University in Baltimore, MD.
1.4. Received my B.S. degree in Physical Education and Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling from Springfield College in Springfield, Massachusetts.
1.5. Received a Technical Diploma from Gwinnett Technical College in Lawrenceville, GA in Hospitality Management.
2. Interests
2.1. Love Seafood, especially eating steam crabs with family & friends.
2.2. Enjoy traveling & cruising nationally and internationally; visited the Cayman Islands, Mexico and Jamaica.
2.3. Enjoy attending wine-tasting events and learning and collecting wines from various regions.
2.4. Great respect and love for the nurturing and care of pets and plants; love playing and caring for my cat Gina. Maintain an indoor Plant/Greenhouse with an array of beautiful plants.

3.1. Former High School physical education teacher and a former Juvenile Counselor with the MD State Department of Juvenile Justice.
3.2. Served as a Social Services Program Manager with the Lawrenceville, GA Department of Family & Children Services.
3.3. Former Director of Senior Services with the Fulton County, GA Department of Health & Human Services.
3.4. Former Director of Quality Assurance for a healthcare organization specializing in the care and delivery of services for the developmentally disable.
4. Places I've Lived
4.1. Native Marylander; raised on the east side of Baltimore, near Johns Hopkins Hospital. Family moved to west Baltimore, Edmondson Village community where I attended and graduated from Edmondson High School.
4.2. Currently live in Montgomery County, MD in the city of Silver Spring.
4.3. Lived in the Atlanta, GA suburb of Duluth for 15 years.
4.4. Other places I have lived are: Austin, Texas; New Orleans, LA; Arizona, and Massachusetts.
5. Community Leadership
5.1. Recently nominated and accepted into Senior Leadership Montgomery, class of 2018.
5.2. Mentor with StreetWise Partners, a non-profit organization whose mission it is to reduce unemployment within disadvantaged communities.
5.3. Volunteer with United Way of Central Maryland, Project Homeless Connect.
