1. Climate change By: Miko Yeo

1.1. Causes

1.1.1. Climate change is largely caused by human activities, and it presents a serious threat to nature and people. Without ambitious global warming mitigation efforts, temperature rise this century will exceed 4 degrees Celsius above pre-industrial levels, with catastrophic consequences for the whole planet.

1.2. Effects

1.2.1. Global climate change has already had observable effects on the environment. Glaciers have shrunk, ice on rivers and lakes is breaking up earlier, plant and animal ranges have shifted and trees are flowering sooner. Effects that scientists had predicted in the past would result from global climate change are now occurring: loss of sea ice, accelerated sea level rise and longer, more intense heat waves.

1.3. Solution

1.3.1. Redwoods can help fight the harmful effects of climate change. Redwoods help keep our air clean, removing carbon dioxide. Ancient redwood forests store at least three times more carbon above ground than any other forests on Earth. 6 fast-growing redwoods can sequester the same amount of carbon as that produced by driving an average car for 1 year.

2. Plastic Pollution by Jayden Lin

2.1. Cause

2.1.1. It will pollute the sea, lake or river

2.2. Effect

2.2.1. The sea creatures will die.

2.3. Solution

2.3.1. use lesser plastic(use more than once.)

3. Illegal Trade of Flora and Fauna By Angel

3.1. Cause

3.1.1. Illegal wildlife trade is also often unsustainable, harming wild populations of animals and plants and pushing endangered species toward extinction. Endangered animals and plants are often the target of wildlife crime because of their rarity and increased economic value.

3.2. Effect

3.2.1. Wildlife trade is by no means always a problem and most wildlife trade is legal. However, it has the potential to be very damaging. Populations of species on earth declined by an average 40% between 1970 and 2000 - and the second-biggest direct threat to species survival, after habitat destruction, is wildlife trade.

3.3. Solution

3.3.1. Stop people from trading any type of flora and fauna

4. Human'Negative Impacts on Biodiversity by Jayden Tan

4.1. Causes

4.1.1. Human destroy its resources by chopping down trees.Polluting the water ,air and land.

4.2. Effects

4.2.1. 10 to 30 percent of mammals , birds and amphibians and close to extinction.75 percent of genetic diversity of agricultural crops have been lost,75 percent of the world's fisheries have been over exploited and one-third of coral reefs are threaten to extinction.

4.3. Solution

4.3.1. Chop down lesser trees.Throw all the garbage in the garbage can.(Do not litter)Contain the harmful air made by factories and other places than created by other places.
