5. Same type of CAST system as Egypt, believed in one god, Shang Ti to be the head god of other small ones

6. Geography & Agriculture:

6.1. Egypt

6.1.1. Nile River gave Egyptians a head-start on all other groups of people around the world and were able to start farming at around 5,000 B.C.!

6.1.2. Nile supports life and makes a normally unsuitable environment livable, and even prosperous

6.1.3. Nile River provided abundant amounts of fertile soil and silt so therefore allowed for the farming necessary for a civilization

6.1.4. Water way promoted trade, and communication with other groups of people, spurting more education and ideas

6.2. Huang He (Yellow River)

6.2.1. Climate as well as elevation vary throughout the areas surrounding the river

6.2.2. Abundance of fertile soil and silt allowed farming and eventually civilization formation

6.2.3. Mountainous areas provided large areas to grow major crops such as rice, as well as in flooded plain areas flooded by the river in certain seasons

7. Religion

7.1.1. Polytheistic beliefs, worshiping of many different gods and goddesses the same as the Greek

7.1.2. Had a CAST system or a pyramid of gods, on the top was the number one god and on bottom of the pyramid the smaller, less important gods

7.1.3. Two separate religious Egyptian minorities believing in separate major gods, one believed in a Cobra god while another believed in a bird god

7.2.1. the people feared their gods and therefore respected them, so they made sacrifices to keep their gods pleased.
