2. Adult learning theories

2.1. Active learner

2.1.1. For the learner to be engaged with e-learning tools, they must be an active learner. Repetition is necessary to acquire a skill during the learning process. (Knowles, Holton, & Swanson, 2015)

2.2. Goal setting

2.2.1. Goal setting is important for the learner because it keeps them motivated during the use of the e-learning tool. Being active with a set goals will keep the student engaged.(Caffarella, Daffron, 2013)

2.3. Cognitive feedback

2.3.1. Cognitive feedback is another important tool to keep students motivated and on task. Young, as well as older adults, enjoy feedback whether it's a negative response or positive, the student needs the work they are completing with e-learning is confirmed and satisfactory.

3. E-learning/motivation

3.1. E-learning is challenging but is mastered with enhanced computer skills.

3.2. For complete success with e-learning an individual must be disciplined.

4.1. Students must follow the policy outlined for e-learning.

4.2. Students avoid plagiarism by citing evidence and following training procedures.

4.3. Students must know copyright law to avoid any illegal actions.
