Link your topics
You can add links to your topics to redirect to additional maps or connect your thoughts with an existing web page.
Use the Links widget in the sidebar to add links to your ideas.
Choose URL to add a link to a web page.
Choose Email to add an email address.
Choose Topic to link to other ideas or mind maps.
Click on the Remove button to remove a link.
You can access our WunderLink™ feature by clicking on the Wand icon at the bottom of the link widget to find the best matching websites for your ideas based on Google search.
You can use WunderLink™ to quickly add links to definitions e.g. on Wikipedia or automatically link to the company websites in your Competitive Research mind map.
All topics with attached links will be marked with a link icon following the idea title.
To preview a link, hover over the topic icon (the arrow), for more than one second. This is especially useful in view mode when there is no sidebar available.
Click on Advanced... to open the advanced link dialog to add a link to other ideas or maps and to access a detailed view of all available WunderLink™ entries.
Click on the tab according to the item you would like to link to.
To link to a website or URL, type the URL into the text field.
To link to another topic, select the map you would like to link to in the dropdown field on the second tab and select the idea by clicking on it. Select the first idea to link to the entire map.
To link to an email address, enter it in the text field on the last tab.
