1. funcion:
1.1. The second conditional is used to talk about situations that are unreal in the present, so we can describe them as imaginary and may not occur.
2. structured:
2.1. For positive it is structured; If + past simple.....would + infinitive.
2.2. For negative it is structured; if + past simple......wouldn´t +infinitive.
2.3. For question it is structured; You can use the word "could" instead of "would".
3. ejemplos.
3.1. positive:If I won the lottery, I would buy my dream house. If you paid your taxes in time, you wouldn’t have these problems.
3.2. negative: If I were you, I wouldn’t go out with him. If they were more civilized, I wouldn’t hate them so much.
