1. Video

1.1. To insert a video:Click the video drop-down arrow and select video from a file. Then you have to locate and select the desired video file and click insert. Finally the video will be added to the slide.

1.2. To preview the video: You make sure the video is selected. Then click the play/pause button to below the video. It will start playing, and the timeline next to the play/pause button will begin to advance. At least to jump to a different part of the video, click anywhere on the timeline.

1.3. To trim the video: From the playback tab, click the trim video command. The trim video dialog box will appears. Next use the green and red handles to set the start and end times.

2. Audio

2.1. To insert audio from a file on your computer: From the insert tab, click the audio drop-down arrow and select audio from file. Next locate and select the desired audio file and click insert. The audio file will be added to the slide.

2.2. To record audio: From the insert tab, click the audio drop-down arrow and select record audio. Then type a name for the audio recording if you want. Click the red record button to start recording. When you´re finished recording, click the stop button. Next to preview your recording, click ok and the audio file will be added into the slide.

3. Charts

3.1. To insert a chart: you have to select the insert tab. Then click the insert chart command in the illustration group. Next you have to select a category from the left pane of the dialog box, and review the charts that appear in the center. Select the desired chart ans finally click ok, an excel window will open with a placeholder for your data.

3.2. To enter chart data: enter your data into the excel spreadsheet. If necessary click and drag the lower right corne. Then close excel, you don´t need to save the spreadsheet. And finally the powerpoint chart will update to reflect the new source data.
