2.1. Aristotle believes that the forms lie inside the things themselves

2.2. Example: The form of an oak tree is inside of an acorn

3.1. All forms of life have Nutritive, reproductive, and Locomotive power

3.2.1. Complex animals have intellectual powers (Problem solving ability)

4. How does Aristotle differ from Plato and Socrates?

4.1. Aristotle is a scientific and practical thinker

4.2. He doesnt believe in the world of the forms

4.2.1. He thinks that everything we can understand are the things we can touch

4.3. He creates and applies a scientific model to philosophical investigation

5. Whats is a teleological system?

5.1. He believed that everything in this world has causes (things that drive them to be created.) He provided 4 causes:

5.2. Material Cause- The material from which the thing is made

5.3. Formal Cause- The shape or form, a thing must take in order to be reconized

5.4. Efficient Cause- The actual force used to make things

5.5. Final Cause- What is the Ultimate purpose of the thing
